When Eli heard that Alli loved his too he smiled a little, reciprocated the kiss, and held her against him. He really didn’t say anything after that aside from place a few kisses on her head and moved to lay on his back while he continued to hold her. “This may seem crazy, but I talked to Julia. Literally talked to her as in a conversation. She knows I moved on and she seemed happy, she said she’s always going to watch over me. I also told her that I go visit her in which she knew, but she’s also happy I didn’t forget her.” he explained. “I don’t think her parents go to see her anymore.” he sighed and looked down to his girlfriend. “Speaking about ex’s does Dave know we’re dating now?” he asked curiously since he didn’t know if he saw them making out in the hallway or them holding hands as Eli walked her to class and carried her books, but also really didn’t care. The only thing that mattered to him was her and nothing else. “I talked to CeCe we’re looking for apartments this summer and you’re more than welcome to join us since you’ll be able to stay there with me during weekends if you wanted to.” he suggested and then ran his fingertips along her back. “The location of my apartment is based on the college I’m going to which is the only bad thing since I could get accepted into TU and then the campus would be in St. George and I’d have to stay in a dorm for a year meaning we’d run off of just texting, skype, phone calls, and holiday visits.” he sighed.

Alli looked at Eli curiously, listening to him as he talked about his Julia and how he had talked to her. She didn’t quite know what to say, but she somehow believed him. Honestly, she’d never really paid much attention to what Clare had told her about Eli’s ex-girlfriend, other than the fact that she had died somehow, but she knew that it must have been pretty hard for Eli to go through. Alli thought for a moment when he asked if Dave knew they were dating, but she was sure that he had found out somehow by now, whether he’d seen them together at school or found out through another person. “He probably does,” she answered, shrugging. “I don’t really talk to him much anymore, so I’m not sure.” Eli continued talking, this time changing the subject to colleges and apartments, changing Alli’s mood slightly. She hadn’t thought much about the fact that Eli would be going to college soon and they might not be seeing each other often. If it ended up that he was going away to college, she didn’t know how well it would work out, but she hoped that he would stay nearby so she could see him regularly. “We’ll find a way to make it work no matter where you go. As long as I at least get to hear your voice every once and awhile, I’ll be alright,” she told him.

I miss you and it's only been a few hours.

Once Eli felt Alli kiss his cheek, he smiled at her. “Hey to you too.” he said softly and then looked up at her when she asked what she could do. “Come here.” he said pulling her down with him as he moved the pups and wrapped his arms around her as he held her close to him so she was facing him. “Just cuddle with me.” he stated as he looked into her eyes and pressed a small kiss to her lips. “I took my anti depressants, but I still feel empty.” he explained. “I talked to my therapist the other day when I told her my mind was scrambled and I couldn’t concentrate. I told her about us and she asked a few things to make sure you knew about my disorders and I told her that you’re well aware of them. She asked me how I felt about you and I couldn’t answer her, I told her it was complicated and I couldn’t figure it out. I’m going to digress here for a minute. Clare came over the other night when she couldn’t sleep to see the pups. We talked about our lives and she apologized for getting mad when I told her about us. She said she’s happy as long as I’m happy and I’m happy with you. When Clare came over it was late too late for me to drive and I told her she could stay and I’d pull out the air mattress to sleep on so she could have my bed, we ended up sharing my bed since, well look a it, it’s huge. I fell asleep cuddling with Rebel while she cuddled with Nancy and we both had our own blankets. I couldn’t sleep and ended up turning a few times and thought about us amongst other things.” he said and looked into her eyes. “I know that I’m going to end up going to college soon and I don’t want to lose you. I talked to CeCe and I’ve decided to stay at my own apartment close to home.” he smiled at her and then looked into her eyes. “When I talked to Clare about Liam I told her to imagine the day without him with no communication at all to prove a point and ended up thinking about the questions. What it came down to was that I can’t imagine going a day without you in it some way, shape, or form. I realized my feelings when I thought about you.” he trailed off and cupped her face. “I love you, Alli.” he whispered.

Alli felt a little bit of relief when she saw Eli smile up at her before pulling her down to lay with him. She laid down facing him and cuddled up with him, listening to him intently while he told her what we was going on. He explained how he’d been feeling and what had happened the last few days and Alli listening, analyzing most of what he was saying while he spoke. When he started to talk about Clare, she didn’t know what to think. For a moment, she was worried that Eli had come to the conclusion that he didn’t like her anymore and he wanted to break up, which made her slightly upset until he finished his small rant by saying that he loved her. She smiled widely, looking back to him as she replied. “I love you too, Eli,” the brunette responded, kissing him softly as she pulled him into a tight hug. Sighing as she held her boyfriend close to her, she hoped that he meant what he said because she was almost positive that she meant it as well.

Eli had went into his room once he got home from school and ignored CeCe and Bullfrog as he went on his way. After going up a few steps he could hear his pups barking and whining for him, then turned to pick them up as he kissed both of their heads. Once he got to the top of the stairs he put both pups down and walked to his room as they followed, then shut the door behind them. He stripped into his boxers as he crawled into in bed and moments later his pups were curled into him. Getting fed up with the silence, he turned on his radio and talked to his parents through the door as they knocked. A moment later, Eli remembered his meds and decided to take two since his therapist hadn’t been picking up her phone, laid back down, and signed online. Within minutes he found himself texting Clare since he knew his girlfriend was probably still working on homework and didn’t want to disturb her. The two talked for a few minutes before Eli let on that his depression kicked back in, then Adam had texted causing him to occupy his mind. Both of his friends offered to keep him company and he rejected both, only Clare didn’t take “no” for an answer. Before she could get back to him, he saw that his girlfriend was online and messaged her informing her that his depression had kicked in and asked to cuddle, in which she agreed. While he informed Alli, Eli also texted his parents informing them to let her in since he knew he wouldn’t want to leave the bed let alone move unless he had to.

As Eli waited for his girlfriend he turned off his radio and inserted his Framing Hanley CD knowing Alli wasn’t a fan of screaming, he didn’t want to have it blaring when she arrived. He stayed on his bed in the fetal position and held his pups while he let his eyes close for moments at a time since it took a while for his meds to kick in, he knew he’d be depressed for a few more hours or more. It’s been a while since he fell into depression and like his bipolar disorder, he didn’t know what triggered it. A sigh fell from his lips as he played the events from the day and closed his eyes as he remembered his chat with Julia that he knew he’d never tell anyone about. He didn’t want Alli to feel like he wasn’t over her if he told her, nor did he want to appear like he was crazy. “I’m going to be ok.” he sighed to no one as he waited for his girlfriend.

Alli’s stress level had been rising more and more it seemed since she’d been studying more than anything over the past few weeks. Although she knew it would pay off in the end, she felt like she was neglecting other things like her friends and her boyfriend, but she knew that they understood how much she worked to get good grades. She finally decided to take a break and get online, hoping that she’d get a chance to talk to Eli before she went to bed, and luckily she did, but only to find out that his depression had struck again. It made her somewhat nervous, honestly. Mainly because she wasn’t quite sure if she would be able to help him, but she knew that she would try and hope for the best. As soon as he asked her to come over, she agreed, grabbing her jacket and heading out the door a few minutes later.

The walk to Eli’s wasn’t that long, but it still took Alli a decent amount of time to get there. As she walked she worried slightly about how he was doing and if he’d be alright or not, but she managed to stay calm while she continued down the path to his house. Once she arrived at his house, she knocked on the door, waiting for someone to answer. A few moments later, Eli’s parents appeared behind the door, greeting her. She told exchanged a couple words with the two before she finally headed up to Eli’s room. Knocking on the door once before coming in, Alli entered her boyfriend’s room to find him curled up in bed with his new puppies. She quietly walked over to him, sitting on the edge of the bed. “Hey there,” she greeted him quietly, placing a kiss on his cheek and rubbing his shoulder softly in attempt to comfort him. “Is there anything I can do to help?”
